Your child will experience some anxiety during the first few days or weeks of school as a result of meeting new friends and being in a new environment. Please discuss the upcoming school year with your child and reassure them that school is a fun and secure environment for learning.
Please keep in mind that some of you will be learning dismissal procedures for the first time on the first day of school, so dismissal will be a bit hectic. We will take a bit longer to dismiss the class because we want to ensure that every student is released to the adult listed on the blue card. Patience and understanding will benefit the safe and effective dismissal of all students.
Grades 3K and PreK will adhere to the A and B schedule for the first week of school.
- If your child's last name begins with the letter A-L, your child is in group A.
- If your child's last name begins with the letter M-Z, your child is in group B.
Grades K-5 Procedure:
- Grade K will be dismissed from the Gym at 2:15 PM
- Grade 1 will be dismissed from the Gym at 2: 20 PM
- Grade 2 will be dismissed from the Gym at 2:20 PM
- Grades 3 will be dismissed from the side door near the Gym at 2: 20 PM
- Grades 4-5 will be dismissed from the side door near the cafeteria at 2:20 PM
