- Welcome & Introductions
- What is your aspiration working with the SLT & PS 192 Community this year?
- The SLT members introduce themselves, the constituents they represent & their aspiration as part of the SLT for the 23-24 school year
- Establishing Norms for the SLT
- Ms Abreu shares the purpose of SLT & norms. The SLT discusses & determines the following norms by consensus:
- Be on time and prepared to contribute
- One voice
- Accept non-closure

- Ms. Abreu shares the importance & role of SLT members as the voice of the community. The SLT reviews the following schoolwide documents & provides feedback:

- PS 192 Procedimientos de Seguridad y para Visitantes

- Ms. Abreu shares the importance & role of SLT members as the voice of the community. The SLT reviews the following schoolwide documents & provides feedback:

- Establishing Calendar of Meetings
- Discussion of how often to meet & the schedule (dates/times) of meetings
- 1x per month for 3 hours (2:30-5:30 PM) or 2x per month for 1.5 hours (2:30-4:00 PM)
- The team decides by consensus to meet once per month for 3 hours from 2:30-5:30 PM
- The SLT will meet the 3rd Thursday or Friday of each month from 2:30-5:30 PM in the PS 192 Library

- Since we did not have our full SLT present, the team decided to postpone the discussions focused on the purpose of the SLT & selecting roles and positions until our next meeting on November 16th. All SLT members will review the documents in advance of our next meeting.
